Manhattan, New York City. Without question one of the greatest cities in the world. So fast and busy! Always busy! No wonder they call it the city that never sleeps.
Every time I rounded a corner I saw yet another backdrop from a famous movie scene. Times Square, Grand Central Station, Ellis Island, Empire State Building, Central Park, and so many more famous landmarks! It was surreal. I half anticipated bumping into an A list movie star at any moment.
New York is the one place I’ve been where I never felt like there was more to see or do elsewhere. I never felt the fear of missing out… If it’s happening – it’s happening in the big apple.
From accidentally riding the Express Subway past my stop into the heart of Harlem after dark, taking a cab from the airport to my AirBnB’s not so sure about this part of town, to trekking across Central Park in the misty morning fog with hardly a person around – every jaunt from my tiny rent-a-room was epic. NYC does not disappoint in the tons going on department.
